DESCRIPTION
Val d’Orcia was nominated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004, and Villa Scannelli is the perfect location from where you can appreciate the view of this wonderful valley.
From the top of the hill, where this Tuscan farmhouse is situated, you are surrounded by the typical landscape of this region, full of cypresses and olive groves.
Built in the 17th century, Villa Scannelli has a particular shape, similar to a “U”, and lies on two floors. Antique elements of the building such as the ceiling, the barrel vaults and the original “cotto” floor have been maintained in order to preserve the original style of this villa. The loggia and the veranda outside are the perfect place where the guests can spend their relaxing time and have lunch or dinner, in a refreshing atmosphere. The wide garden, mainly kept as lawn, is surrounded by cypresses and flowers.
The architecture is enriched by an inner court, and an arched gallery that connects the villa to the veranda and to the swimming pool, from where our guests can admire the landscape. The swimming pool is surrounded by a floor made of bricks, and by the lawn. Lounges and umbrellas are available in this area, where there is also an outdoor shower.
The car park is covered, and not visible from the rooms, because it is behind the villa.
On the ground floor the spaces are divided among a huge living room, a dining room with a fireplace, a kitchen (with oven, microwaves, freezer and dishwasher), a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine and a tumble drier. There is also a study with a wardrobe, where the renters can find the linen at their disposal.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and three master double bedrooms. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower. For children up to 12 years, it’s possible to request a single extra bed (to be paid on the spot) for two of the master bedrooms.

- 1 study that contains a wardrobe, with linen at the renters' disposal.
First floor:

- available on request and to pay on the spot, 2 single extra beds ( for children up to 12 years), one per each of 2 master bedrooms.
