In Tuscany there are more than 4.500 historical houses, that include castles, palaces, hundreds of villas with monumental gardens. They represent a complement of absolute value to other “excellences”, known by magazines and tour guides, such as Palazzo Corsini or Palazzo Antinori in Florence, the Villa of Camugliano in Pisa, Villa Torrigiani or Villa Mansi in Lucca; Villa La Foce in Chianciano, the castles of Cacchiano and Rocca d’Orcia in the Sienese area; the Marsiliana in Maremma; the castle of Fosdinovo and Villa Bagnone in Lunigiana, and many other places. Historical houses are subjected to the bond of historical and artistic interest, that include even the so-called “residenze d’epoca”, where an activity of reception and stay is possible. Nowadays, huge investments are necessary to preserve these beautiful places, but sometimes owners are not able to face them. Supporting the cultural heritage doesn’t mean “to help the owners”, but to help “the cultural heritage” and give the chance to the owner to preserve, protect and hand it down to the future generations!
